What will you be doing?
As a Data Analyst Apprentice (DAD24), this is a great opportunity to become part of our growing BBC team while developing your skills in areas like:
- Computing technologies
- Programming
- Managing IT Systems
- Web technologies
- Algorithms, data structures and computability
- Data management and analysis
And you’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification and BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions, learning both on and off the job.
What does the role lead to?
After the scheme this will typically lead to role as a Data Analyst
This scheme starts in September 2024 and is a 48 month BSc programme
Locations:
Based in Salford. Please note that we are recruiting for this role in multiple locations, please ensure you're applying on the correct job ad. Candidates must be a commutable distance from the office, as we're unable to support with relocation.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
If you love using mathematics and technology to solve problems then we need to talk! We’re recruiting graduates with plenty of ideas and great communication skills to join our team of Data Analysts. We’re not expecting you to run before you can walk, that’s why it’s an apprenticeship. But with support from our teams and the University of Exeter, we’ll help you to fulfil your potential.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over when the apprenticeship starts in September 2024
- Have GCSEs in both Maths and English or Standard (Scotland) at 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent
- Have achieved A level Maths or equivalent by programme start
- Be legally allowed to work in the UK. You will be asked to confirm eligibility when they apply. This will include providing evidence of UK residency/nationality status or evidence of having resided in the UK for 3+ years, providing passport and evidence of settled status.
- Not be on another funded training programme or apprenticeship at the time the programme starts.
